Categories

  • Overall Best Photo - We will choose our favorite picture of all submitted for our Grand Prize!

  • Funniest Ice Cream Moment - Capture a funny or whimsical moment involving Plush Horse ice cream.

  • Best Group Photo - Gather your friends or family and take a memorable group picture enjoying Plush Horse ice cream.

  • Best Couple Photo - Snap a pic with your sweetheart enjoying some Plush Horse ice cream!

  • Best Pet Photo - Snap a picture of your pet posing outside at The Plush Horse, or with some Plush Horse packaging! (*Note: We do not recommend feeding ice cream to your pets. Please do so at your own discretion)

  • Best Ice Cream Photo - Don't want to be in pictures? No problem! Snap a photo of ice cream at The Plush Horse, or with some Plush Horse packaging!

Judging Criteria:

  • Creativity and originality.

  • Relevance to the category.

  • Quality and composition of the photo.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Eligibility: The contest is open to all customers of The Original Plush Horse. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.  If you are submitting a photo of someone under the age of 18, you must have the right or permission to do so.

  2. Entry Requirements:

    • Photos must be taken on The Original Plush Horse property or feature Plush Horse packaging to ensure it includes our ice cream (this contest is for The Original Plush Horse of PALOS PARK. This contest is not affiliated with Plush Horse of Tinley Park).

    • Each participant can submit up to ONE photo per category.

    • Any photos that won in previous photo contests are NOT eligible. 

    • AI-generated images or images that have been substantially altered using AI are not eligible. Minor edits such as adjustments to brightness, contrast, color, cropping, or lighting are permitted at the sole discretion of The Original Plush Horse.

    • The Original Plush Horse reserves the right to disqualify entries that don't meet the rules.

  3. Submission Guidelines:

    • Photos must be submitted via our official contest page theplushhorse.com/photocontest 

    • All entries must be received by July 18th, 2026 at 11:59pm Central Time.

  4. ​Usage Rights: By entering the contest, participants confirm they own the rights to the submitted photo and grant The Original Plush Horse permission to use, reproduce, and publish the photo for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, our website, signage, print materials, and advertising, without additional compensation.

  5. Notification of Winners: Winners will be notified via email. Winners will also be announced on our social media pages on July 20th.

  6. Prizes: The Grand Prize winner must pick up their prizes in person at The Original Plush Horse in Palos Park, IL. The   winner will have until September 1st to claim and pick up their prizes. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prizes. Winners of the other categories will receive a digital e-gift card via email.

Disqualification Criteria:

  1. Non-Original Content: Any photo that is found to be plagiarized, copied, or not the original work of the entrant will be disqualified.

  2. Inappropriate Content: Photos containing inappropriate, offensive, or obscene content, including but not limited to violence, nudity, political statements, or hate speech, will be disqualified.

  3. Irrelevant Content: Photos that do not clearly feature The Original Plush Horse property or packaging, thus failing to meet the contest's main requirement, will be disqualified.

  4. Misrepresentation: Entries that falsely represent or mislead about the product or the location will be disqualified.

  5. Exceeding Submission Limits: Participants who submit more than 1 photo per category will have all but first entry disqualified. 

  6. Incomplete Submissions: Entries that do not include all required information or fail to follow the submission guidelines will be disqualified.

  7. Late Entries: Any photos submitted after the contest deadline will not be considered.

  8. Non-Compliance: Participants who do not comply with any of the official contest rules and guidelines will be disqualified.

  9. Violation of Privacy: Photos that include individuals who have not given consent to be photographed or whose privacy is violated will be disqualified.

  10. Repeat Entry: Any photos submitted in a previous photo contest that have won are not eligible for resubmission.
